I'm not totally sure what counts as the end of a journey.... I assume it's when the car stops, engine switched off, doors locked?

Each journey tracked can only be used to calculate the average speed; so if it looked very high speed, the speeds must have been even higher at some point !
With journey logging switched on, you get to see a lot of information about the trip, including a map of the route, and a graph of speed, mpg, electricity used and saved along the way. So I was able to see some quite high speeds at various points along the motorway...!

I don't get that from it; time of journey start and end point, miles, time, fuel used; no specific route or speed information

The map on mine seems to only indicate the start and end points, with no route information at any magnification. No graphs either.

A strange little black "here" with a downward pointing triangle always on the bottom edge of the map[ it appears to do nothing.

For each trip, mine shows a map with A and B denoting the start and end of the journey.

Directly underneath the map, it tells me the address of A and B, and to the right there is a right-arrow which takes me to the trip detail, which is where the graphs of speed, mpg, and route information are.

I've attached a screenshot of a short journey made while my car was at the dealership.

Mine shows something like that ; there is an " editable trip details" section, below the map, then the "trip details" section. Clicking the right arrow merely takes it to a "trip route" page map, with the start and finish locations on it, but no actual route between the two indicated.

The VOC can be disabled with VIDA - but you get a orange triangle warning message to that effect every time you start the car.
