Default saturated footwells front and rear

I have a leak somewhere in my 2007 Volvo V50 estate, that results in flooded passenger side, rear and front footwells (car is parked on a slight left dipping slope so if level may affect all footwells I suppose). I thought it might be sun roof but sealed that up last winter, but after heavy rains I found the water lapping again, and I have bailed out several pints this morning using a sponge. I see some suggestions are a leaking windscreen. Do members think this might be the most likely cause. Unfortunately the car isn't garaged so the problem is bound to continue and I don't know what electrics or other damage might result if I cant remedy the problem. Any advice gratefully received

We had similar on our C30 and it was the windscreen - its easy to tell - you just push up on the inside of the screen while looking outside and you can see the screen lift.

Blocked scuttle drains are another possibility.
