Position lamps
Hello need help with the front position lamps the little orange bulbs on the side of the headlights I just can't get them to work I took them out and saw a blown bulb so replaced that still nothing checked the fuse in engine bay that was fine the lights in the rear work and fine and fuse is to am I missing something a relay or anything else many thanks in advanced
Car is 56 plate s60 d5 |

If the lamps are orange those are the direction indicators.
The front position lamps are clear and depending upon the model and type of headlamp fitted are either 5W 501 capless mounted in the dipped beam reflector or in the case of Bi-xenon headlights they are located next to the indicator bulb holder fitting into their own "compartment section", yours may have LEDs. if you want to give the lights a thorough check the front bumper and lights can come off fairly easy...

They are not the directional bulbs as they are in the wing mirrors on my car the manual of the car calls the position lamps I've got them on the the rear and the front on the sides of the unit rears are red front are orange but clear bulb

No the indicator bulb is a much larger bulb the one next to the indicator is the one I'm having the trouble with

My bad just checked manual again they are called side marker lamps but can find no info on fuse location in manual

Yes they were blown I found them not to bad to get back in but new bulbs won't come on either
