Default XC60 d5 new owner ... advice needed

Picked up my 2013 d5 r design nav last week. Its done 71k miles with good history and has had polestar done.

Overall very happy with the car. Well bar the sat nav but I expected that..

But...

The car has a very tappety rattle engine noise especially under light acceleration. Smooths out fine with a bit of speed or on trailing throttle.

I am really disappointed as it makes it sound like a knackered taxi in traffic. And I am worried its the sign of injector troubles ahead ?

Any thoughts or experiences most welcome..

I had a similar issue with my 2013 D4 AWD and found it to be a faulty one way valve on the vacuum pump!

I think these engines are a bit tappey. Get a video and we can tell you if it sounds normal or not.

I was shocked at how clattery my 2012 xc60 D5 215 engine is after 20 years owning with various Jeep grand cherokee's.
I have owned my Volvo for 15 months now and covered 20K and love driving it but it still irritates me how intrusive the noise is when pulling away at low rpm.
Although motorway cruising is quiet and comfortable.

The vacuum check valve was faulty on my XC60 D4 which in turn caused the EGR to become noisey.... replaced both & the problem was sorted

See video prior to the repair being carried out.... it may help:
