Default Volvo S60 Polestar questions

Hi, I recently purchased a Volvo S60 RDesign T4, after having admired the car for a while I found a really good deal via Carwow for the last unregistered S60 T4 in the UK, prior to the introduction of the new model. As Volvo wanted to shift their final remaining stock it was cheaper than several lower spec used models I had been looking at.

I understand that there was an engine update in 2017 as the S60 T4 after this date are significantly more powerful than the earlier models and about 1.5 seconds faster to 60mph- I have been looking into Polestar remapping etc. which is offered for approx. £700 but it is not available for S60 T4 models produced after 2017. Does anyone have any idea why, is it too soon? would it be unprofitable for a relatively short production run for a now discontinued car? Or have they essentially got the most they can by tuning the engine as standard. As it is already improved on the previous iteration.

Any help would be appreciated.

In addition it does not concern me but my S60 does not come with any external RDesign badges (all other Rdesign I see do have these). When ordering a custom car is it an option for Rdesign cars, or just a quirk for this model?

You'd probably be better off posting in the S60/V60/XC60 forum, but basically there are two T4s in the 2010 onwards S60 - there's the 1.6GTDI Ford unit (which I have) and the current 2 litre, which gives much better performance as you'd expect of a bigger engine. I have a feeling the 1.6 T4 was discontinued around 2013/2014 and there was a period where there wasn't a T4 in the lineup, and it was reintroduced when they put the new 2 litre engine in around 2017. Someone correct me if I'm wrong! I'm surprised if Polestar aren't offering their remap on the newer engine, I'd have thought there'd be a lot of potential with it. The remap on the 1.6 T4 took it to 200bhp I believe.

My 2012 R Design has a little badge in the front grille but nowhere else other than the seats and steering wheel. This may have changed in more recent cars
