Default Vehicle breakdown/recovery

I'm looking for some breakdown cover as my 940 project is pretty much road ready, however being substantially lower than a stock 940, I have clearance issues especially with the intercooler which sits proud at the front, along with everything else under the car!
Do the big companies have the ability to recover vehicles like this or would I need a specialist low loader?

I have a bank account with Nationwide, a flex account, which costs me £13 a month. Included in that deal is Breakdown cover, in that policy, which I've checked again recently, they include car, caravan, and European cover and there are no restrictions on age of vehicle, as long as you can prove you have maintained it (Regular services etc). The level of cover you get would cost you a lot more with the RAC, Greenflag etc. They use Britannia Rescue and I have used this cover on one occasion and they got out to me in reasonable time and dealt with my issue. Additional to Breakdown cover I also get worldwide family travel insurance and Mobile phone insurance. For me it's worth having this account for the Breakdown cover alone, let alone the Travel Insurance etc, it's a cracking deal.

On the issue of recovering a vehicle such as yours, you'd be surprised what an experienced Recovery technician can get on the back of a truck or set up for towing. If they can recover caravans then a car should be easy.

I have no affiliation with Nationwide, I just think their account, and service in general is excellent, best I've ever had by a mile.

I've not come across any problems but my cars are standard hight or higher. Any recovery agent is going to assess the job before diving in, especially if you are with the car pointing out the problems.

I have had to Jack under the sills to get a Jack under the wishbone on a lowered Renault in order to change a wheel on one occasion when servicing rally cars. There always a way around the problem.

Had is with my slammed 340 (prop coming off a few times) and never an issue getting it loaded. They normally have jacks and wood etc to help get it on
