Default Heated Seats

Hi

I’ve recently bought a V70 D5 on a 53 plate and noticed that it’s not got the heated seats BUT last Friday I bought a climate module control from a breaker to let me have better looking control buttons etc on my car. This unit cane with the heated seats switches which I’ve fitted to my car now but what I’d like to find out is will my car have the heated elements etc within the seats?

Is this possible to get working if they have as the driver seat is electric but not the passenger one.

How would I get them working if everything is in place?

Thanks

There won’t be heater pads or control box on your seats. Don’t bother trying to get the factory fit system working as it needs software to activate and Volvo can’t activate it is it wasn’t an original fitting.
Been there tried that!

Thanks for your reply at least I know not to go and try this then😢 I just hate the look of blank switches so I got the heated seats one in but hoped they’d be there ready to use. Never mind

Cheers

Get one of those seat covers made out of wooden beads ... work wonders .... Well ... so I'm told ... my car has heated seats
