Cambelt / timing belt
Plz can anyone advise me re timing / cambelt
I have recently bought a C30 Details reading from the log book C30 R Design September 2010 1596 CC Petrol 61000 miles As you can probably guess apart from driving my knowledge of cars is zilch So any advise would be so much appreciated Query Do I need to get the cambelt changed and/or when does it need changing is the mileage or the age of the car that determines it TIA |

Hi there,
I have a Volvo V50 2009 2.4 with 'MW' in the VIN and B5244 Engine No.. Is this an engine with a timing (cam) belt? It has done around 180000km Also usually when the car starts and is being driven it has a shuddering sound on acceleration, not sure what this is linked to. Cheers |
