The 2 bolts and penetrating fluid worked. What a relief was really stressing about it.

Great news. Apply a small dabble of copperslip anti-seize paste on the inner face of the new disc and hub mating surfaces. This will ensure you or the next owner has a less troublesome replacement.

Yeah put some copper paste on. It was around the edge of the hub where it had corroded the worst.

Works for me every time.

High direct impacts can affect the wheel bearing. It would create high lateral forces inside the bearing which may affect its durability in the long term. I would at least use a piece of wood between the disc and the hammer

One trick is to support the car safely on a jackstand near that wheel corner, then use a hydraulic jack under the disc and lift just enough to remove 'not all' the weight from the jack stand - then kick on the disc carefully from a distance
