it is easier with the seat out but you can do it in place if you have small hands and two 10mm AF spanners ... or take the 4 mounting bolts out and tip the seat back , you have electrical side air bags on your later model so ok as long as ignition is off .

Seat adjust.
We're lucky our S40 SE has the passenger seat adjustment option that makes it identical to the driver's seat.
However, I would imagine your seat should move down a couple of notches on the subframe - might be tricky to do, did it on my 740; quite easy on that though no electrics to worry about only the seat heater connection! Good luck. Prufrock. |
