I sent a PM yesterday as well - but looks like neither were received.

Basically, I would like to buy the car for £550 if it's still available.

Just trying to convince my new wife I need this car in my life ultimately I think its a no, she gave me a hard time about keeping my grandads volvo 460 after the crash

A car is just a car, but newer is best is what she says. Women!

No one will be treading on my toes if they want it.

Try telling her that when she is older ..... a woman is just a woman, but younger is best .....
I am sure that she will disagree with that!

Hello.

I'm very interested in the Volvo 360. I've owned five 360 GLTs and two 345s and am now looking for one in lovely condition which I can keep for good. Yours seems ideal. I'm happy to pay your price and will not attempt to beat you down or make silly offers. It's a shame about the engine, but I'd like to rebuild the existing one in order to keep it original. I'm happy to come and collect the car this week and pay in cash. I've been let down by several vendors recently, so do hope I can secure this one.

You can call me on 07437 758994 or just let me know your number and I can call you. I left you a couple of messages on the Volvo 300 Mania forum yesterday, but not too sure if you've received them. My username on there is "360 GLT".

All the best,

John.

I've recently become the new custodian of this lovely car - which is a real credit to its one and only previous owner.

I'm hoping to make a start repairing the engine in a couple of weeks - so watch out for some naive tech questions from me.

Glad to read it's gone to an enthusiastic owner, it's the twin of my GLT Keep us posted with the engine work, will be interesting to see what actually happened and the (unfortunate) resulting damage.
