TBH if they added 2l to the car without a proper check they want shooting.
There's every chance the oil is now actually overfilled & as a result could cause damage. Not sure of the exact process but mine (a D5) is always serviced at the dealer, they drain out the old, change the filter put in the correct quantity of fresh oil & the reset the electronic dipstick. They forgot to reset the stick once & very soon the car was complaining & asking for 0.5l to be added. Popped back to dealer & the tech showed me the level was correct (The D5 has a stumpy dipstick) & then performed the reset.

That's got me worried now, perhaps next time I will do oil and filter at Volvo. Not sure how much it is, ATS was £90 using Mobil 1

The brand on the bottle means nothing it’s the spec that’s important and the oil from FRF is probably £50 on it’s own (they do a special parts discount for owners club members) personally I would consider taking it to FRF and asking them to check the oil level properly! The damage from overfilled oil could be huge
