Default V70XC propshaft

Hi

I have just bought a v70 XC Cross Country with the centre bearing gone, it in 2wd at the moment I am keen on getting it back up and running as a 4wd, has anyone successfully had a prop shaft rebuilt or is it a volvo replacement job @1K

There is a place near us that has done them in the past at around £250 so there should be someone local to you offering similar.Maybe try phoning the local 4x4 specialists as they will most likely have contacts for that type of service.

north west propshaft did mine for £300 and that replacing both cv joints and putting a fully removable yoke so that it can be rebuilt

shame i didnt meassure it as its the shorter of the two propshafts i have
