I have just bought a v70 XC Cross Country with the centre bearing gone, it in 2wd at the moment I am keen on getting it back up and running as a 4wd, has anyone successfully had a prop shaft rebuilt or is it a volvo replacement job @1K cheers |

There is a place near us that has done them in the past at around £250 so there should be someone local to you offering similar.Maybe try phoning the local 4x4 specialists as they will most likely have contacts for that type of service.
