Default 2005 v70 bi-fuel conversion to modern system

Hi, sorry in advance if this has been covered in the past.

My LPG factory-fitted system randomly decides to drastically reduce power (basically pressing on the gas does almost nothing) and then comes back to petrol or in some occasions shuts down the engine entirely. Petrol runs fine all the time. I live outside UK and there almost aren't any guys who service this volvo LPG system. So I am thinking of getting a new modern system fitted. My main concern is the ECU. V40 has separate ECUs so the conversion is straightforward. I know that V70 has one ECU to control petrol and LPG. Is that an issue?

Thanks!

It not an major issue and you can still fit a retro fit system. I have replaced a few due to the high cost of factory fit replacement parts and the reliability problems with the factory system.
