Great thanks all and Greg that youtube video is perfect. I am also going to bleed the brakes but will start a different thread.

Bleeding was a doddle! The front wheels don’t need to come off only the rear.

Splash guard removed today only 4 x 13mm bolts and a bit of a jiggle to get it out. That then reveals the 13mm radiator drain value just in front of the radiator hose
Also a good excuse to paint to splash guard whilst the weather is nice! I will do the coolant change tomorrow once I have been to Volvo to get the coolant then refit the newly painted splash guard.

Coolant change completed today after collecting the concentrated coolant from Volvo. Not sure what was in there before as it was red but needless to say it is now a nice bluey green colour.
Flushed through three times till it was all nice and clear and then refilled. The splash guard looks a lot better now it’s painted as well although was a slight pain to relocate when refitting.
All in was a nice simple job that won’t need doing for another 10 years! Thanks for the advice. Weather isn’t looking great for the next couple of days so might have to delay bleeding the brakes.
