Does paying extra for a 'Selekt' vehicle from a Volvo dealer really mean anything? The massively-overpriced example that I viewed had obvious wheel kerb damage.
I suppose it all depends on the dealer. Mine was a 'Selekt' car & I didn't feel I paid too far over the odds for it. The warranty that came with it I've not had to use but was pretty comprehensive in what it covered.

The dealer that I got mine from pointed out a few scratches & a bit of wheel kerbing when I viewed the car but promised it'd be sorted before I collect it (It was).

It's no different really than any other manufacturers 'Approved Used' scheme it comes at a slight premium but..... If you've got a good dealer In my mind it's worth it.

Thanks for all the responses. Decided to exchange it for another as I was in my 30 day window.

Put a 'Volvo Selekt' sticker on it again and sell it for top dollar?
