I know this is an old thread, but I'm suddenly faced with driving through an area that might require chains in a week. I have a 2016 XC90 T8, which came stock with 20" tires/wheels.

Is there still no solution for the 20" wheel? This seems like a huge problem, if true.

Try the following:
https://snowchains.co.uk/snow-chains...20&m=fg&id=108
There are also:
https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rb...Model=&TID=483

Personally I bought a set of 19" wheels with winter tires and then the choice is larger and cheaper for an item you are unlikely to use but have to have to go up parts of the Alps these days.

But May?.....

Of course there is, volvo wouldn't ignore the fact of safe driving in snow , Didn't you contact the dealer ? Chains only available on 18" and 19" rims ..

these are for UK not sure if USA is the same ..

Thanks for the reply.

The AutoSock has just been approved for traction control in California, so I got a set. I hope it's enough to stop a multi-ton XC90. I still wish there was a chain solution, but fingers crossed, I won't need either.
