Default Liqui Moly Diesel purge on 185 D5 possible ?

Hi all. As always I'm looking to improve and prevent.

Is a diesel purge possible on the 185 D5 ?

SiRobb. Since your youtube video on the 163, have you found a way ?

I've still not had one to do that specific job but think that it's possible.

The problem on the 185 is the HP pump's inability to suck in fuel so my theory is to use a cheap one way valve on the feed line and a simple vacuum tester on the return line to fully prime the HP pump.
I've used this method on several cars that are thought to be difficult to Purge.

I tried feeding the HP pump on my 185 with diesel purge from a pressurised Gunson Easi-bleed kit last year and I did get the engine to start, but it wouldn't run for very long before cutting out.
I gave up eventually and chucked the diesel purge in the fuel tank. I assume my setup wasn't generating enough feed pressure.

Of course.
If you do a Purge correctly, there should never be a problem as you're just running a different version of diesel then reverting back to normal.

I just got a Honda crv for ma and pa, I put liqui moly diesel purge in the tank and ended up with engine management lights on due to a clogged fuel filter which had recently been changed.
So I used some liqui moly in the filter housing, surprising how much you can put in there!

Putting it in the filter housing is the same as putting it in the tank so you need to isolate the main fuel system, otherwise there's not much point using Diesel Purge.
