V50 Electrics : - > 04 S40/V50 towbar electrics

Has anyone fitted a bypass relay to a v50? I have heard talk of colour codes being wrong and having to buzz the car wiring out with a meter to get the correct wires. I've also heard of someone killing the car altogether but I'm not faint hearted.............anyone got any experiences to share?

If I do crack it though I'll post up what I did.

wish you well,could be expensive if you don't crack/buzz the wiring for what ?
