Normally there has to be a small clearance between the push rod and the arm, so increasing the length wouldn't work. You may be able to do a small adjustment at the pedal end on the push rod there.

Bit of a thread resurrection but wanted to know if those pictures are hosted anywhere else? I'm looking to change my clutch to the diesel set up this looked like the perfect how to!

I have a M90 that I would like to use to replace a M46 gearbox. My concern is that since the input shaft on the M90 is shorter than the M46, then either the M90 does not use a Pilot bearing or it is a raised bearing.

My Volvo dealer does not have anything in his parts data base on a pilot bearing for later models. I s there a part number for a pilot bearing that goes with the M 90 gearbox?

Does anyone know what's the thickness of a new (diesel) clutch disc?

From memory it should be about 7.5mm clamped. 8.5mm will not work well.
