Default C30 Aux-Ipod shuffle

Hi, new to this ipod stuff, can anyone tell me if an Ipod 4th generation Shuffle would be compatible to play with the audio system on my 2009 C30, it has the 3.5 aux jack input in the centre glovebox and the CD/AUX display on the system, if not can someone advise me of a suitable Ipod type/set up to use ?
tia, Kevin.

I'm fairly sure you'll have no issue with the AUX setting and jack plug in the centre console, it's effectively taking a headphone socket output and playing through your car speakers, not sure the level of control that the stereo and steering wheel buttons will provide though.

Mine is a 2010 C30 with Aux and bluetooth, no troubles there but I haven't used your version of iPod only USB key and mobile phone via AUX. Don't think mine will stream the music via Bluetooth, that capability arrived a couple of years later.

Yep, should be fine through AUX. No control on any of the car buttons though. I don't have BT but do have AUX and USB, and via USB you can control your iPod via the car controls.
