There is a black 144 on ebay at the moment. Its suspension has been modded but its not without issues...

Is that the one with the modified (f*cked with) transmission tunnel?
I love the way the guy tries to justify it in the first paragraph.....okay so maybe the handling isn't Citroenesque but why bother with a Volvo in that case!!!

I think the one on ebay looks very smart, however it doesn't really come with a lot does it, no engine box seats wheels, and if its been modded with that diesel engine in it, will a normal B20 etc fit with the different steering rack/box?
also if you were going to use it for rallying, I wouldn't of thought you would be eligible for any sort of historic class either, which I assume is the type of rallying you would be doing with a 144. Dan |
