limp mode, stuttering, stalling switchung from lpg to petrol
hopefully someone will be able to enlighten me here with this issue i am having. i have a volvo 2006 v50 T5 FWD with BRC lpg kit installed in it for the last three years. i havent had a problem and have been quite happy with the performance. but now i am having issues when i run out of lpg and it switches to petrol on the motorway. the car will begin to lose power, stutter, and eventually stall no matter how much gas i give.
the only way i can remedy this, is by shutting the car off and restarting, and even then its not 100% effective in fixing the issue. dont know if anyone has ever had this issue and to be honest dont know if its lpg related. any insight on this would be appreciated. thanks |

It could be an ECU or switch issue not allowing the engine to run on petrol.
Normally when you start to run out you can press the switch and it will run on LPG again, does this work? |

looks like i have fixed the issue by changing the famous T5 engine fuel pressure sensor issue.
if anyone needs any more info about this here is one of the many threads on this issue with on this particular engine, http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?154495 |
