Default Rear door speaker cover

Hi everyone

The speaker cover on the rear door has partially popped off and is hanging from the bottom edge. I've tried pushing it back in but it pops out each time the door is closed. I got the dealer to look at it on the last service and they said the complete door card has to be replaced which seems a bit extreme. Does anyone know how these are actually fitted? There doesn't look as though there are any clips keeping it in??

Hi, I had this problem with a front door tweeter speaker. My trim is black and I used small spots of a sealand called sykaflex and wiped excess off with turps.

The cover takes no strain so suggest similar of the correct colour to stick yours back.

They are just press-fitted and glued in
Not available as a spare part

Use hotmelt glue or some other glue to fix it in place

I had trouble with mine where the dust seal came loose from the grill and vibrated with bass notes.
In the end I ripped out the dust seal, now you can see the speaker... but it doesn't vibrate any more
