Yeah mine came with the Latitude 3s - I didn't realise they were acoustic tyres.

Haldex - have you used yours in snowy areas? Going to the Pyrenees soon and wondering if I should just throw some snow socks in the boot or get cross climates as well.

Thanks

No, never on Latitude Sports- my car was delivered in Dec ‘17 and the first trip was to the Alps- so I ordered a set of Laritude Alpins LA2 right away If you frequent the mountains in winter- buy yourself proper winters. Socks are pretty crap + they wear quickly when on tarmac..

I have these for super deep stuff, just in case- but 2 winters with this car and I have yet to put them on: https://fr.michelin-lifestyle.com/en...grip-evolution

Cool found them on Amazon for £140 so will get those instead!

What are your thoughts on Michelin Cross Climates as they have the 3PMSF mark on them + if I get the chains?

Mine came also with the Latitude 3s. Good tyres. Still expensive although even if in the beginning Latitude 3s tyres were more expensive than now.

Can't say that I have any experience with CrossClimates.. I am a firm believer in winter tires for winter, summers for summer They have good reviews- I have heard they wear fast in warm weather- but that's expected from a winter compound tire..

If you buy the EasyGrip composite chains no need for real chains- these will outperform the normal chains + they are homologated for those countries/regions that require you to have snow chains.
