C70 Hazard Warning Lights.
Hi all,
A bit of enlightenment needed here, I have a MY2006 C70, I've owned it just over a year and it becomes a teenager next month and has been practising for the event. The issue I have with the hazards is this. With the the ignition key in position 2, the green indicator arrows on the dash flash, (engine running or not). If the key is at position 0 or 1 these arrows do not operate although the hazards remain flashing. Is this the norm as I've never come across this on any of my previous cars, different makes? |

Pretty sure that is what my 2011 does... I do know for sure they don't "click" when the ignition is off... I will double check tomorrow, at work now and driving my new-to-me S60 today

Too late to edit apparently, so to update, that is exactly how my 2009 C70 and 2001 S60 behave: no clicks or flashing arrows unless the ignition is on II

Hi Sysyphus
Many thanks for confirming I have no fault, that all appears well. Just FYI my previous was a MK1 C70 coupe 2.0ltr LPT. It's hazards worked like I was used too. Fred |
