Default Question from a Newbie.

Hi - Am looking at getting an Isofix Easybase to fit in the back of my XC90 to make life easier when installing rear facing maxi cosi baby seat. Does anyone know if they fit properly? Thanks.

Oh - and whilst I'm here, why do my rear parking sensors sometimes beep for no good reason when I'm reversing in the rain?? Does anyone else have the same problem?

Why not take the car to the local baby store and they'll do a free fitting to ensure everything is OK before you buy. This is what we did whent we got ours.

It's because the raindrops on the sensors fool the ultrasonics into thinking there is something very close to the car - it's not a Volvo thing, I sometimes get the same problem in my MB when it rains.

I have 2 non Isofix easibases that I have used for the last 12 months. These fitted perfectly in my XC90. I used seat protectors with them to not damage the leather.

These are now surplus to requirements and I am about to sell these privately if you are interested, though I do appreciate you were thinking of an isofix.

PM if interested.
