Oh **** I have broken my lpg
Well I managed to break my switch over switch yesterday.
I was fitting a new centre console as it was ripped out for the police before me. How can I get it fixed? Its flashing an orange light and 2 green lights are also flashing. As far as I can see the nearest lpg garage / service place is falkirk (I live in Aberdeen) Can anyone find me a local place? Thanks. |

Does the Bridge of Don Shell place not have LPG? I think Inverurie does as well.

My bad, I thought you were running dry!
I really don't know about LPG repair though. There must be somewhere surely around the North East though. If not then there's a gap in the market!

These people do switches, if you can spot the correct one it just plugs back on. There is a ting plug at the back of it.
http://www.autogasshop.co.uk/index.asp?function=SEARCH just put switch into their search and it will show you a list of them. |

Why do you need an lpg specialist? It's only a switch after all.
I would have thought any auto electrician or even someone with quite basic electrical knowledge should be able to sort it out for you, even if it's just a temporary fix to keep you going. Have you pulled a wire out or physically broken the switch in some manner? How many wires go to the switch? |

I hope yours isn't the same issue, but only an LPG specialist can tell for sure. Changing the switch will be the first thing to do if you are hoping for a DIY fix. Hopefully the flashing lights just mean an issue, and not a specific issue |

Cant be ecu as the lpg works - found out today when it ran out and automatically moved back to petrol as I get a big jerk from the changeover if at speed or accelerating at the time. So it looks like I just need the switch?
