So you are selling both your white 850s. You must be sorry to part with both but time marches on I suppose. Having owned 3 of the 4 white 850s puts you in a pretty unique position. Would have loved to have done a deal with you. I can appreciate the work and cash you have put into these cars, and your asking prices are very reasonable considering. Shame I missed you selling the 850 man. est. because that's what I'm looking for. If you know where she is & if she might be for sale please pm & let me know. Also if you hear of another 850 R man. est., give me a shout. Its sometimes a bit difficult over here in Cork to keep up to date with the scene over in the UK.

To be honest I am not even concerned if this sells or not as it is such a great car, if needs be I can sell the S60 R and keep the 850.

The only reason I am selling is that I want to do something diffrent involving cars with my other half, we have been thinking of an american classic or something fairly british like a triumph GT6 or a TR6. Unfortunatly I do not have a garage so not looking for something that is a minter as I would not be able to care for it as it should. I also want to do the occassional track day so an old volvo that has been modernised or has the potential to be modernised could be on the cards.

Both my wife and I like classic cars but don't want the hassel of the old mechanics so a modernised classic may be the way forward. We both like the look of the following older Volvo's P1800, two door amazon, two door one series, 164, at a push we may consider the more modern rear wheel drives but would want a little more punch under the hood.

Even though this is an Auto if it where closer to Sheffield i would most definatly have already bought this myself and done a manual conversion.

Ive looked into the logisitcs of travelling by Rail and Air but its just a nightmare from Sheffield

IC has a manual box and all the other bits from a S70 R may be worth contacting him to find out if he still has it and how much he wants for it.

I may also have a 05 T5 turbo to go with the car (same turbo type as the S60/V70 R)
