Xc90 Wheel Bearings

Hi all XC90 owners i just thought i would ask any of you if you have had any wheel bearing noise problems ?

We have had many customers cars in the last six months with rear wheel bearings that are very loud this may be common with other volvo dealers/specialists ??

As the cars are still under warrenty i would have them checked.

I thought i would ask as we have had two cars in the last week with this problem one is a T6 with only 16 K !

yes this is a common fault with xc90

Hi have you only heard of rear bearings failing ?

yeah only rears not done fronts yet

hi, what sort of noise should i look out for? is it at slow speed or motorway speed?

Hi the noise is a difficult one to describe !

My most recent customer with the problem thought it was the exhaust rubbing on the underneath her noise could be heard from 20 mph upwards it will get louder the faster you go.

If you have an odd noise have a go at seeing if it changes as you go round left/right corners.

If you suspect anything get your local main dealer/specialist to check them for you .
