If the DEM is causing trouble, remove and get it refurbished.
Put a plastic bag zip tied over the DEM loom connector to keep it clean and dry while the DEM is out of the vehicle.
Thats whats next.....as Swiss says......

Your DEM is obviously faulty.
Get it rebuild/repaired using one of the company's provided in the links from colinbos

Default Volvo xc90 2009 BCM 0094 CEM 1A64

Dear members, I have the following codes after running diagnostics in Vida:

- BCM 0094, Communication between control units Communication problems with DEM
- CEM 1A64, Communication with AOC control module Signal missing
- REM DD10 LIN communication, communication fault (Front rear park assist does not work)

I have done the following so far:

- My SAS was replaced last year by Volvo
- Changed oil and filter at the HALDEX
- Checked HALDEX pump and works
- The HALDEX module looks clean, no corrosion
- Checked Yaw sensor and it looks nice and clean, no corrosion
- Fuses are ok

I am open to WHAT is NEXT to CHECK suggestions, I would appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing a CAN bus problem

Monitor the CAN bus signals with a scope to check the electrical waveform

If you see any irregularities, unplug units one by one until you find the one causing the problem.

This will take time, and experience helps a lot.

Most likely your rem is faulty. Check power to fuse 23.
