Default Xc90 headlight washers. Missing..

Hello, my 2005 executive has never had headlight washers or covers, now I know the covers are readily available on eBay but I can’t seem to find the jets st a decent price?
Any links?
Thanks in advance,
Jim.

Jim,

When I had a 2005 XC90 I needed to replace a headlamp washer jet and cover, from memory the actual jet was only available from Volvo.

Something to also bear in mind, the Ebay covers are OK but don't include the little kite shaped link that secures them to the jet. Again, this is only available from Volvo so to be honest you are probably better to order your jets and covers from a Volvo parts dealer.

You will also need to spray paint the covers to match your car as they come in grey plastic.

Hope this helps.

Note that they also have their own motor, they certainly have their own fuse. They do not appear to run from the same circuit as the main wash.

Cheers guys, they work- but they just shoot cyclists with water at the moment as there is nothing to aim them at the light!
Quite handy really...

Is there a way to get the actual washer jet to come out of the bumper as to attach the cover ? I can’t get my fat fingers in to clip the cover back on...
Thanks
Lee

Get someone to operate the washer and grab the nozzle with a pair of grips whilst it is out. Watch out though, the return spring is quite powerful!
