Default Anti-skid service warning

Just had the "anti-skid service required" warning message this morning. Does anyone know if this is anything major?

Could be, I had it once or twice, I just gave the brake areas a good old jet wash, hasn't come back yet.

I just assumed it was a note to say a service was due. I did a couple of skids to make sure it was still working, then ignored it and I went away after a while.

But that was a risk I took. A year later and it hasn't come back

Found out what the problem was!

After the ABS turned itself off I thought I'd better give it a bit of attention! Turned out I've got a very slow puncture in my right front tyre that I only noticed today - put some air in the tyre and the message has now gone and not been back (yet). Assume the ABS was struggling to cope with the underinflated tyre.
