Default XC90 Sales volumes

Volvo UK have just updated the sales figures for Aug & Sept 09, broken down by model. The figures show huge numbers of XC90s being registered, even beating the XC60 by a couple of hundred. I guess the incentives must be working, and obviously explains the long delivery times. The link to the appropriate page is below; I am not sure if you need a password for the site, though?

What a very interesting web site. I just had a look at the 7th Oct 2009 press release for the XC90, and when it list the extras for the Executive it gets a bit confused. My new executive arrived 3 weeks ago and does not have Walnut trim on the doors, or a 6 CD player as listed but does have elecrically heated rear seats which are not mentioned.

I'm not surprised it's doing so well, apart from the private motorist incentives some of the lease deals which have been available over the last few months have been absolutely incredible.
