On second thoughts I don't need a buzzer/ beeper with controls because if I want the parking lights to be on I need only close the driver's door - simples! All I need now is to be able to identify the correct cables from the door switch and to the parking light then install the device across them.

Can anyone say before I open up the driver's door courtesy light switch if both the cables are earth? I guess they are and the circuit diagrams seem to indicate they have to be, but before I get to work on it I like to be sure. I have now ordered for less than a fiver post paid from eBay a small buzzer which I shal install as per my previous message. I'll let the forum know how I get on it case it helps others who need their instrument lights to be on during the day. Derek Vivian
