c30 gearbox problems
hi all
bit of a problem with car i hope someone here has some experience of c30 1.6 diesel r design 2012 56k first lost 3rd gear whilst driving then became increasing more difficult to get into any gear. By the time I arrived at home the car would not move in to any gear at all with the ignition on. Will move through the gears fine with ignition off and will drive perfectly well once in a gear ! Dropped off at garage who cant look at until Monday, but his thought was clutch, but not had any signs that clutch was on its way out. Would appreciate any feed back !!!! Sounds like the same problem I had.
Wouldn't go into gear with the engine running, but would go in with it off. My issue was the clutch spring - https://video.citnow.com/vtVL05_5JwS

If it's that spring that failed in mine, it's supposedly a common issue.

I had to replace the clutch in my C30 2012 at 85k, which I was suprised at as it was one company car owner before me (so assumed mainly motorway driving), but guess you can't tell how a cars been driven before you have it |

I'd get the DMF done at the same time, as its the labour that costs the most, so you may as well do the DMF when the gearbox is out

Volvo C30 R design diesel automatic gearbox
Hi All
I have the Volvo C30 R design diesel automatic and the gearbox has developed a fault it has become slow and unresponsive and jolts into gear. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so is there a way to fix it? Any advice would greatly be appreciated! |
