940 abs/non abs caliper difference?

I need a couple of new calipers for my 940 but I'm seeing abs and non abs calipers, what difference do they have?

A good place to start would be the faq on the 700/900 series, where you will find full info on the different types. Usefully included are pictures of the different types and their appropriate pads.
The vehicle id plate also has the info in position E, which is the end of the second line on the right;
2: Girling Front, ATE Rea
3: DBA/Bendix Front, ATE Rear
4: Girling Front and rear
5: DBA/Bendix Front, Girling Rear

I can check on vida if you send me the car's details via a pm.

If you need the rear callipers, then that's another minefield as if you have ATE rear's you might have a 36mm or a 38mm calliper piston just to confuse matters further!

As far as I was aware all 940's had ABS??

No! They came with both: ABS and without ABS

Ben, you can't mix ABS with non-ABS
ABS calipper with one brakehose
Non-ABS with two brakehoses each side
If I remember right ATE and Girling are different in the pads too.

Check carefully before you do the order.
