Sywell Amazon meet 10.9.17 Pictures
For those who couldn't come or didn't want to get their cars wet here are some pictures of those who did. Despite the rain a very good meet. The Hurricane and Spitfires just over the small fence were happy to run up and take off for us, a nice bonus.Bigger/better copies of these pictures available for anyone who PM's their home address. Thanks to Simon and Daren of Brookhouse for the goodie bags and for coming in Simon's very nice Estate. Thanks to all who attended. I hope you enjoyed the day. A repeat diary date for next year will be appearing on the calendar.
It maybe that I can only post 5 pics on a post. If so there will be several posts! |

Plus 2. A bit off when you don't post a pic of your own car! Simon of Brookhouse next to mine. I hope it will post this time as when I tried to add them I was told I was missing a "security token" Well it's possible I do have things missing nut not sure about that one.
It's come up again. I have mailed Cumbriamale directly as the reporting process seems to be broken too. "Invalid posting" When fixed I will upload. Last edited by Derek UK; Sep 11th, 2017 at 21:51. |

Too big they say but all of the others loaded fine 1600 wide. "They" say 1024 max width so I hope these don't show up as too small when compared to rest. Sorry if they do.
Well they posted but the quality is cr*p when compared to all of the others. Sorry. |

Hi all,
Thanks for the pictures Derek, sorry I couldn't make it to increase the numbers by one but my Amazon is still awaiting the final touches including an MOT. Another couple of weeks is nothing I suppose after 31 years off the road but frustrating all the same. I was looking forward to putting some faces to names including Simon & Darren after all the helpfull telephone chats and financial transactions it would have been the icing on the cake. Never mind patience is a virtue, anyway it was good to see the bonus of Merlin engines for company. Thanks to all for the continued support and cameraderie of this great site...... Andy |

Picture #9 and standing behind Gary's red 2 door. Darren to left and Simon to right. Simon also in the 2 pics of the VW Cab whose owner is having an Amazon restored. Maybe the one with the 1800 dash?
