Default front underside plastic protective trim

Hi,

I have a 2000 year v40 2.0t. I snagged the large plastic guard that is attached to the underside of the front end spanning the full width of the car. It is ripped to shreds on one corner and hanging off. Could someone please let me know what this part is called so I can get one off the interweb. I tried searching various terms but couldn't find one.

Any help appreciated.

I successfully replaced a faulty crankshaft position sensor today so am on a bit of a roll (I am no mechanic!!!). No more random stalling! Heaven!

cheers

Search for 'undertray' you should find one. Your car being a 2000model is between phases and is often referred to as a phase1.5 although Volvo only ever officially designated them phase 1 or 2. There is a difference in the undertrays between phases so be careful you get the correct part. There should be one tray fitted to the bumper and then one or two under the engine itself, depending on model spec and phase.

Superb, thanks. I found one using the search 'engine cover undertray'. £30 on eBay. Will confirm which phase I have before buying.

Thanks again for quick response, much appreciated.
