"Selling for a friend"

Is that so he can deny all knowledge of it NOT being a T5 when someone does click the Buy It Now?

Followed by...

"Well it has the T5 badge, and T5 alloys....how was I supposed to know it wasn't one?"

my dad bought an 850t5 r as some of you might know from a previous thread
that turned out to be a glt with the t5 r badges, luckily he can just put it
down to experiance and absorb the loss but to buy your dream car and then
discover it's not what it's supposed to be is gutting, not everybody is a volvo
expert and some do slip by, clone's are everywhere, be careful, cam.

Absolutely not a T5 engine, as others have said they all have the large hose running across the top of the engine and that's from the very first cars with reverse I/C all the way up to the end of the line S60 and V70's.

I have mailed the seller to see what he says, could be interesting.

Ahem! Did I get done? I thought GLT was the spec level? My log book states 850 glt and 2319 cc. The sticker on my cambelt cover says it's a B5234T engine which is also correct is it not? My last peice of "evidence" your honour (lol) is the performance, I took a couple of friends (both hardened boy/man racers) on a test flight round the block and they looked a quite scared/shocked at the end of it! Please tell me I didn't get done
Can I ask what your log books say next to the model/type question?

i have just been looking at this again and from what i can tell if you look at the top right corner of the engine is that silver pipe the pipe that runs from the exhaust manifold to the air box to supply it with warm air also the air flow sensor is part of the air box and correct me if i'm wrong but to my knowledge they are seperate on the turbo's

Question

Couldn't be bother to go and look but just "ripped" this off the interweb! Its the same as mine (the airbox, airflow meter, etc), is this a t5 (the picture title said it was)?
Can all you 850 T5 owners check your logbooks and tell me what it says next to "850" by the "model/type" question. Mine says "850 GLT", do yours say "850 T5"??
