Sorry, cant do this. The local parish council had a vote last week and gay marriages are no longer recognised in Berkshire.

Fortunately, transvestitism is still legal in the village so I wont have to go though that kind of court case again.

I wish that I'd made more of my 240GL, but the windscreen pillars were so rotten, it would have been the height of folly to attempt to do anything with it apart from scrap it when its tax and MOT ran out. Good job I only paid £200 for it...

I miss my dad's 240 (below). Great motor, he owned it for years and it survived everything thrown at it, even going into the M2 central reservation in heavy snow! He eventually sold it in the mid-nineties for a rover 400

iv 2 cars i kinda miss first in my old 2.8 injection capri loved that car it is white but had a full brookland int (full leather recaros) i spun it in ice about 10yrs ago its still sat in my lock up i will resto it one day !!!! the other was my daimler XJ40 3.6 , loverly to cruise in but could be fun to thrash

The reg doesn't come up on the askmid as an insured vehicle but that means nothing much. However, one of the car buying websites does pull it up as non-metallic red Volvo, whether it would pull up such an old plate if it wasn't still on the database and had been scrapped means theres a slight glimmer of hope it may still be around??

and it says if you are interested in buying this number plate to email them, so you may find out that way whats happened to it, say it was your old car and you want the old number plate back and they should be able to tell you what it's registered to now? If its not registered to a car then probably it was scrapped??

Interestingly, they value that reg and mine too at between £700 and £5000, how accurate this is I don't know.........

If you still have a note of the chassis number you can go to the dvla website and search for the car.
