Probably because you only put it on here less than 48 hours ago.
Have patience.

Perhaps you would have more interest were you to:
1) give an indication of the price desired, and 2) have it MOT tested and offer it with a year's ticket. Regards, John.

Thanks for your reply John! You're right, I could be more patient!
But I'm also happy to renew MOT if anyone was interested in buying, and with regards to price, am flexible and would like to know what you all think would be a reasonable offer? |

It has been said many times before, but it is worth repeating that cars at this level are worth pretty much what someone is prepared to pay. That is why the MOT is important; as any half-decent car should make c£500 with a year's ticket, so think of it as an investment. The very best cars might make up to £1K, runners in need of work £200 or so. Others may, of course, differ! Also, remember those on here may already own one or more examples, so you may have to wait to find a buyer, particularly if yours is at the higher end of the range.
Regards, John.

Thanks again John! I think my car is in really good condition, only a small bit of rust on the arch above the wheel one side. But I also want to move relatively fast if possible, so can offer it
1) with new MOT 2) at £500 Would just prefer my beloved first car to go to a good home! Any takers? |

RE: D`s 440 more priase from someone how been there
Called today to veiw the volvo 440
all that purple thingy said was correct i would have had it but its auto.. (memo to self read all the bl@@y ad in future) this car has an original tape player bluespot. I wanted a manuel car. a good wash polish and compound a big service a bit of fuel additive would be good as she has only done 33,500 miles and good bash up the motorway. then spend the rest of the year driving it. Thanks for coming to see it, shame it didn't suit! But thanks also for posting a review 'hutch'.
Going to widen my advertising I think! (when I have time that is...) But did want it to go to a volvo lover! |
