Default want Stromberg 175

Hi folks, ideally looking for a NOS stromberg 175 for my B20A.
Some “expert” has touched my Carb and made a mess of it.
The core is the only good part remained.

That’s a good shout mate! However I am looking at the photos and it looks like it has been stored in the garden for the last 50 years
All that rust can’t be good?

I’d buy it! Dissemble, clean , reassemble. Nothing frightening about that one mate.🤔

Cross reference this with the bits you have,
https://www.forgasarteknik.se/Reserv...g/ZS-Volvo.pdf
Many 240 have identical Jets/needles. Diaphragms are all the same so 1 could be rebuilt and made to suit your application.
Added note. Not all Stromberg CD175s were made for Volvos, so be aware some won't work at all, especially if they are made to fit the wrong side.
The tag on the top of the carb has numbers pertaining to the model, jet and needle size check that against the list.

The ebay sell wants £199 for a piece of scrap.
I just noted listed as "new carb"!!!!
