Fitting a dog guard in a V70 D5 SE
Hi everyone, As a newbie I'm a bit apprehensive about my first post. I have only recently bought my Volvo and stumbled upon Volvo Forums when researching my new car. It is a goldmine for information on all things Volvo and I hope someone can help me.
I bought a genuine V70 dog guard (without instructions) and on first looks it to be very easy to fit. I assumed that it would click into the same fitting that the cargo net bar fits. I placed it in with the gas struts facing the rear and it seems to fit, but my problem is how do the gas struts work. I don't want to force the guard upwards in case I have fitted it wrongly. Can anyone help please? |

Sound like you have fitted it correctly.
Just push it up and it will stay up.
