Lightbulb rear end thud noise!!

my v70 has developed a thud noise on the rear suspension, it is best described as if a person was trapped in a wooden box and was hitting it from the inside, very annoying but cannot be faulted at local dealers. i know its not a normal noise as this is my second v70 on a 2007 model. any ideas please...

Your car is not a new model V70 - so stop bloody posting in the wrong forum.

You are not helping yourself OR anyone else who searches this place for question and answers specific to the LATEST V70 - which isn't yours!!!

if you have fallen off the volvo band wagon why don't you go and find a new wagon to jump on, and stop leaving short and shrift replies to people, i post my blogs in the 07 model forum as the local dealer states to me that it is everytime i purchase parts for it, as we say were im from,,, it is easier to shout and scream at somebody when you are not next to them but not that easy if you were next to me, so chill out and be a bit nicer, if you know what i mean

But yours isn't a Phase 3 car - is it?????

Does you car look like this??

If not - then you are in the wrong place. By posting here you:

1) Are less likely to find the right answer.
2) Making it harder for people finding information on Phase 3 cars.
3) Making it harder for people finding information on Phase 2 cars because your post will be missing from a search made on the phase 2 folder

The biggest giveaway is the the T5 is not available as Phase 3 car.

FYI - I have contacted the mods about ensuring posts are moved - but noone does anything about it.

Your car is a phase 2 V70

And this is a phase 1 V70

i will now be posting in the right forum, i understand that you can and do get frustrated by users posting in the wrong forum, and totally understand why blogs should be in the right forum, i am bit slow in learning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for getting frustrated - but I am disappointed the mods don't do anything. It would also be rather handy to have "forum model photos" so everyone knows where to post.
