C30 General : - grille dilemma

I am a volvo newbie, just acquired a c30,1.6d,57 plate.really enjoying it but have noticed that there's no bottom grille so no protection from flying stones.is this the norm?any advice would be much appreciated thanks.

Mine is like that too, the S40 isn't but the C30 is. I don't know of a supplier where an aftermarket one could be found either if it bothers you.

There was a thread on this very subject and how some had bought grille mesh and made one. The search facility here is not good but I'll try and find it.
