Default Vibration Problem

I have recently had to replace the Auto Box on my V70R AWD Phase 111 as the reverse/3rd gear failed which ultimately caused the whole box to fail
So we have had a Brand New 5 speed box fitted to the original transfer box and a refurbished rebalanced propshaft fitted from the transfer box to the rear AWD Unit
Despite all of this effort and expense, I am still getting a clunking sound from under the centre console when accessing Reverse or accessing Drive from reverse which started with the old Gearbox fitted and doesn't seem to want to go away
I also get a warring vibration at 60mph plus, again from what appears to be underneath the car behind the rear of the front seats.
Any suggestions folks

Hi,

May be worth your while checking and searching the AWD forum further down the page. Possibly also the x70 section for post '07 cars too.

Des. . .

Could it be one of the gearbox or engine mounts which is on the way out?
