Vibration Problem
I have recently had to replace the Auto Box on my V70R AWD Phase 111 as the reverse/3rd gear failed which ultimately caused the whole box to fail
So we have had a Brand New 5 speed box fitted to the original transfer box and a refurbished rebalanced propshaft fitted from the transfer box to the rear AWD Unit Despite all of this effort and expense, I am still getting a clunking sound from under the centre console when accessing Reverse or accessing Drive from reverse which started with the old Gearbox fitted and doesn't seem to want to go away I also get a warring vibration at 60mph plus, again from what appears to be underneath the car behind the rear of the front seats. Any suggestions folks |

Hi,
May be worth your while checking and searching the AWD forum further down the page. Possibly also the x70 section for post '07 cars too. Des. . .

Could it be one of the gearbox or engine mounts which is on the way out?
