Replacing an ECU
So, im just wandering.
I have the 102 1.9d and from what ive read, it is identical to the 115 model, just a different ecu map. Does that mean i can get a ecu from a 115 model and put it straight in mine? turning mine into a stock 115 model? Phil

I thought they were identical too, except for the ECU, but someone mentioned that the turbo is different. Not 100% sure if that is the case though. In order to get everything working, with no visits to the dealer to reprogram the ECU and the immobilizer, you could do what I did and replace the complete lockset. http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=169513
You will need: - ECU - Immobiliser Contol Unit - Lock alarm receiving unit - Steering lock key barrel - Locks from the drivers door, boot and glovebox If you can find out for sure that the 102 and 115 cars are the same, then I have a complete lockset available from a 115 1.9D
