Wentworth Woes
Despite the best of efforts I seem to have made absolutely no progess trying to get the car running again! So far I have checked :-
1. Fuel supply and return - both OK! 2. Diagnostic code 1-1-1 code given 3. Plenty of sparking at coil, plugs etc... 4. Exhaust, I was bothered that the catalyst may have collapsed in on itself. I'm really hoping that somebody out there can point to something obvious that I have missed. Two things that I have found niggle me. The first is that when I ran the "Injection System Component Activation Test" the test would activate the cooling fan, followed by the injectors and then stop after acticating the IAC. According to the text it should also check the radio suppression relay and the cold start injector. Is this telling me anything? The second is a small aprox 1/8" length of tubing that comes through the bulkhead just above the crankcase sensor. It looks like it has a purpose! Any advice would be greatly received as I seem to be getting nowhere! Many Thanks Scott |

RE: Wentworth Woes
Hi Thanks for getting back to me. I did check the battery but all seemed OK. Its quite frustrating as the engine turn over and seems to be trying to fire but just doesn't quite make it. To be honest I've run out of time and patience and I have passed the car over to a mechanic friend. |
