I didn't know that an employer needed to be qualified in anything apart from running the business if that but you do need a bit of PR.
How many people are there doing jobs that they are not qualified to do but are competent through experience.
A piece of paper doesn't guarantee that a person can do the job as people often find out with a any organisation.

"PR" tho is a double edge sword when your "prime service" leads to ,at best, very questionable , results, and even more so when your "show + tell" thing doesnt DO the thing its supposed to be advertising and Such a good advert for.
ie a car tuner who's showcasing his talents/skill on a car that at a major event wasnt running due to it blowing a bit of the engine a Few weeks before the show, and a bit thats fairly cheap + easy to replace ,not some ££££ mega unobtainable item.

Add in the bits where they apparently DONT sort out there muckups to customers cars untill they get taken to court , and perhaps then you can see Why when they just blatently plug "look this is brilliant we did it" (and it doesnt Work or do what its supposed to) people rightly take the rise out of them and get annoyed at the apparently continual "look were brilliant" and shameless self plugs/free advertising , whilst "p##ping" on long term customers.

.
1. Really??? A gas fitter without qualification, would that be OK for you??? Heart Surgeon perhaps??? But the guy fitting the brakes to your family transport...that's OK is it??? When entering a contract for the supply of services, it is taken in law that the supplier of such services has at his disposal the competency to deliver those services and the reciever is entitled to expect the same!!

2, Competent, that's the point here!!!!

Must I really read your barely coherent nonesense again??? If the beliefs you state above are in any way prevelent I can see why British business is in the mess it's in! As I appear privvy to details you perhaps have not availed yourself of I suggest YOU do some reading over at T5D5!!!

As you well know I wasn't "making fun of a guy that lost it all in a fire" I was asking if he had paid back the monies he owed, some of that to forum members.

Why doesn't it surprise me that you would think it fine not to pay money owed!

Russ through you incompetence probably partly due to never being qualified you also ended up with a bit of a sticky wicket resulting in you deciding to leave your customer substantially out of pocket and without the use of his car for several months.

Russ are YOU ever going to refund the outstanding money from the Small Claims Court?

You and the law don't get along very well do you?

On the subject of law I'm currently in custody of some of your property so could I please return it to you?

Oh the worm speaketh....

Russell, you are a slimy devious disreputable piece of cr*p.

You STILL owe Greg quite a considerable sum of money - At LEAST £1500, and I suspect probably a bit more.

The reason you don't like T5D5 is because you've had your ass kicked, primarily by Greg and the members of T5D5 who helped him when he was down.

Incidentally, and of great relevance, these will be the same members of T5D5 who were of great help to one member, who lost his Wife and Daughter in a fire - Linky and not only that, were also the same members who helped out yet another member who was burgled, Linky. And last but not least, are the self same members who arranged and donated over £600 for the Haiti DEC appeal at the MRG meet.

You really couldn't get much lower Russ....

Of course, the help Greg received was AFTER you'd done him over for 11k, then lied through your teeth about the condition of his engine, and that it would be perfectly fine after having lost all of it's oil bar 1 litre...... Oh of course, you then told Greg to basically get ****ed when his engine went bang - which is actually not any different to the actions of Hamish Lindsey when S70Chris's engine went bang. Oh and thats also the S70Chris who won't ever use you again either, after you'd ripped HIM off as well.

Those aren't isolated cases, but in fact the absolute tip of the iceberg.

Oh, and whilst I'm at it, another link for Russ and his friends... Lack of Morals when it comes to money Link

Oh and whilst you've got time to post up Russell, why don't you have a look at http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...8&postcount=28
and http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...6&postcount=23 .

Of course, you haven't answered, so I can only assume it's the "Wrong Sort" of question, and it's too difficult to answer considering it's over 6 months old.

Finally, with regard to your "latest idea" that you once again claim for yourself as the "uber tuning cowboy" Link to VS you should really know better, as Ashok had that done over 2 years ago... but then again, it's not the first or the last time you steal others work/ideas, and pass it off as your own for for your own personal gain.

Yes it's off topic, but that happens I'm afraid.

Actually, I think I'm going to rejoin VOC, just so I can push through a motion that Russell gets kicked out <if he's a member>, his advertising removed and gets banned from the forum for conning, ripping off multiple VOC members, and being a disreputable , dishonest, crooked trader.

I'm sure the VOC don't want to countenance such traders taking advantage of the site to rip off even more of their membership do they - infact if they do, they could be made out to be complicit in the deception, and it's hardly working in their members best interests. Unless of course, the money he's paying as an advertiser is sorely needed - but then, they'd be no better in the morals dept. than the dishonest trader himself.

Oh
